Background & History

One of my more nerdy hobbies includes reading and talking about high-end mechanical wrist watches. I stumbled upon this interest back in 2011 during a High-School class project, where we analysed marketing strategies of luxury watch companies and the literary devices used to sell them.

Two years later in 2013, I was still interested in the subject and began contacting watch shops to see if I could film and review their fine timepieces. To my surprise, and after a fair number of rejections, I got the opportunity to film and review some watches from Patek Philippe, Rolex, Jaeger Le-Coultre, Omega, and A. Lange & Söhne to name a few.

I was even invited as part of the official press team of the new watch unveiling at Harrods, London. In hindsight, I remember feeling a little out of place, being not only a teenager, but also being the only one to use my phone to film and edit my videos. Since then, I have reviewed some of the finest watches in the world costing up to a quarter of a million dollars.

Despite it being over 3 years since I made my last video, I am pleasantly surprised that my channel still receives several tens of thousands of views per month. Today, I have ~15,000 subscribers, ~25 million impressions, with over ~6 million views. Below is a sample of my (nerdy) videos. Visit my channel to see more.
