Big Ride for Africa
2018 - Ireland - 320km
500 runners and riders cycled over a collective 100,000km across Ireland and Denver for Lessons for Life. Avid cyclists and runners in Europe spent over 7,000 hours in the wind, rain and shine over two days on routes ranging from 50km to 160km per day. We set up basecamp near Dublin in the beautiful surroundings of Castlemartin Stud Farm in County Kildare on the edge of the stunning and challenging Wicklow Mountains.
2019 - Germany - 320km
The Big Ride for Africa 2019 set up basecamp on the northern edge of the beautiful Eifel National Park, a low mountain range in Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia, which extends into Belgium and Luxembourg. It was an incredible success with nearly 500 riders cycling and running across Germany and Denver for Lessons for Life.
